Cafe Create is a non profit making arts project started by St Paul's Church, Leamington Spa in autumn 2004.
Every two months we meet on a Saturday night to give a platform to anyone who wishes to perform. We have enjoyed poetry, drama, comedy, acoustic and electric music - solo, band and DJ, fire twirling, fire eating, VJing and the much loved audience question. We occasionally book professional artists to top the bill.
Many, but not all, of the performers are Christians but there is no preaching. A fairtrade coffee and wine bar is run on a donations basis. There are usually free nibbles, great background movies and posters and toys to play with. Attendance has varied between 45 and 125.
Café Create has now begun happening regularly in Lancaster and on May 16th will begin in Nailsea
